The School of Greatness
Achieving greatness requires a holistic approach to living a better life. Look at all the areas in your life and figure out what you need to do to reach the next level. Adopt and maintain a mindset that supports a continuous strive for growth.
Key Components to Get through Adversity
The adversity we face in life is oftentimes out of our control. What we do have control over is how we handle adversity. We can either let adversity hold us back or go through the emotions and learn lessons from our experience.
Steps to Overcoming Adversity
Any time you face adversity, what meaning do you choose to give the situation?
What learnings do you choose to extract from the situation?
How are you going to integrate these learnings into your life?
How can you share those with others?
Creating a Vision
Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom or a budding entrepreneur, having a vision is an essential component of working towards greatness. Visions can be ambitious or modest, but they must be clear. Commit yourself to your vision, but be flexible on how you reach it.
The Hustle Mentality
Hustle is the “x-factor” successful individuals possess and Lewis defines it as “always diving for loose balls.”
In other words, you need to be able to do whatever it takes to achieve your vision. If you’re not motivated and you’re not hustling, your vision may not be clear enough.
Overcoming Fear
Harness your fear, don’t let it harness you. Fear is an obstacle to achieving your vision and can hold you back from taking action. When faced with fear, ask yourself the following series of questions:
What’s the worse thing that can happen in this moment?
If that happens, then what happens next?
Then what would happen next?
Then what would happen after that?
Continue until you get to the worst possible scenario and realize that the next step is to pick up where you left off and continue working towards your vision.
Once you let go of the fear in your mind and in your ego, you can hustle.

The Power of Belief
Belief and doubt separates winners and losers. The one common denominator in all top athletes is that they believe in their heart and body that they have the power to make things happen. When doubt creeps into a person, you can see it in their body language. The person who can continuously harness the power of belief is the difference between a champion and someone who gets 2nd or 3rd place.
